Windmaster 2 Graupner 78 The WINDMASTER 2 is the ideal unit for virtually all sportsmen, including modellers, glider and paraglider pilots, surfers, balloonists etc. The measured windspeed can be displayed in four different units of measurement: Kilometres/hour, knots/second, metres/second, miles/hour. The wind direction does not affect the measurement process, as the measuring head is pan-directional. In order to keep friction as low as possible, the wind cup array is supported in a sapphire bearing. The large LCD screen shows the current, average and maximum windspeed at a glance, and a Beaufort Scale bar graph is displayed at the same time. The WINDMASTER 2 features a standard tripod thread (UNC 6.35 x 1.27) on the underside to allow mounting for stationary windspeed measurement.
