WP KEY BISCAYNE Graupner 2174 The KEY BISCAYNE racing boat is a development of the proven ARROW racer. With its new styling and brilliant red colour scheme it makes an eye-catching model at any lakeside. Either of two versions can be built: one for electric power, one for glow motor. In its standard electric version the boat is designed for the HYDROSPEED FLEX STEERING power assembly with SPEED 700 Turbo electric motor.
A combination battery holder allows the use of two drive batteries, one on either side of the motor. Both packs are offset slightly to the left in order to cancel the torque effect of the propeller. For even higher speeds the boat can be fitted with the ULTRA 1300-9M high-performance motor. The table below shows the effect of the various power systems on running time and maximum speed. In the internal-combustion version the boat is intended for the OS MAX 32 F-MX 5.23 cc glowplug motor.
