WP Der kleine RC-UHU Graupner 9401 The RC-UHU is the logical development of the famous free-flight model, of which over 10,000 have been sold. The new model is supplied in the form of a classic GRAUPNER quick-build kit, which is Made in Germany. This model offers any young person with a keen interest in sport aviation the chance to learn the art of modelling - virtually from first principles. It is designed to be builtthe support and advice of teaching assistants in schools or as a group-work project within model clubs. A particularly economical 5-pack of the model is available especially for this purpose. The aeroplane is assembled on the building board which is also supplied in the pack. The models components are very accurately pre-cut using the latest laser technology, and require virtually no trimming prior to being fitted together. The wing is assembled from a small number of profile-machined balsa components in conjunction with ready-made parts moulded in high-quality plastic. Relatively little effort is required, and the result is an extremely attractive model aircraft with a high wing aspect ratio and a T-tail - design features which are normally the preserve of much larger RC models. Der kleine RC-UHU is designed to comply with the newcompetition rules of the DAeC (German Aero Club). A launch system conforming with the Kleiner UHU free-flight class competition rules is available as an accessory under Order No. 155. Der kleine RC-UHU is designed to suit the reasonably-priced X-306 FM radio control system, which can later be used for many other types of model.This elegant aircraft is a delight to fly at the slope, and at flat field sites it offers a fine performance when fitted with the optional electric motor pylon. The motor pylon is fitted with the G3.5 connector system, and can be fitted and removed again in seconds.
